Jackie and Paul wished everyone a Happy New Year.
Charles started secondary school.
Jackie and Maureen came to live at Joseph’s home.
Joseph and Dorris got married on April 8th!
Alison, her dad, and aunt were excited to attend.
The day after the wedding, everyone got together.
We had a great safari in Samburu (complete with mzungu safari gear).
And we got to spend some time at a Samburu village.
A baby boy calf was born and the Moja supporters voted to name him Ferdinand.
The cow shed was blown down.
We built the shed back stronger.
Evelyn helped move the feed back.
Stephen was the coolest guy in Embu.
Dorris and Joseph opened a print shop.
Jackie celebrated 10 years with her first birthday party and the the whole neighborhood was invited.
After realizing the sponsored kids in the village were sleeping on boards, we got them some new, comfortable beds.
Hillary was able to enroll at the same boarding school as Charles, ending his three-hour walk to and from school everyday.

Peter and Joseph were thrilled to have a visit from their sister, Esther.
Evelyn graduated from primary school.
Through the support of several donors, Neema continued to thrive in nursing school.

All of the new sponsored high school girls, along with Evelyn, were able to enroll at St. John’s Secondary School.
Joseph and Dorris announced that they were expecting a child.
Everyone was proud to model the new clothes they got for Christmas.
The sponsored kids helped organize and distribute food for village households caring for orphans.
So, Alison Kinyua was actually born on January 22nd, 2018, but we are so excited that we had to include her!
